MMS are active members of the following NGO Committees and Working Group at the UN.
Justice Coalition of Religious
Justice Coalition of Religious is a group of 22 non-governmental organizations representing over 200 congregations of Catholic women and men Religious at the UN. The primary aim is to strengthen the capacity of members to address the root causes of unsustainable development.

NGO Committee for Social Development
NGO Committee for Social Development is a committee dedicated to raise awareness on social development issues taken up by the UN System and in particular, by the UN Commission for Social Development.
NGO Committee on Migration
NGO Committee on Migration is a committee of over 50 NGOs who seek to realize justice for migrants, refugees, stateless persons, internally displaced persons, and trafficked persons in accordance with the United Nations Charter.

NGO Committee on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
NGO Committee on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is a special committee that promotes the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and supports the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, as well as other UN mechanisms focusing on indigenous peoples.
Committee of Religious NGOs
Committee of Religious NGOs is a coalition of representatives of religious, spiritual and ethical non-governmental organisations who exchange varying points of view and are dedicated to the pursuit of peace, understanding and mutual respect.
NGO Mining Working Group
NGO Mining Working Group is an NGO coalition that, in partnership with members and affected local communities, advocates at and through the UN for human and environmental rights related to extractive industries.

Religious at the UN (RUN)
MMS is also an active member of the Religious at the UN (RUN), an informal group of UN representatives of Catholic congregations of women and men religious.
Members relate with one another for support and sharing of information and resources.
